Valentine Donation Update

Hey y'all!

I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped contribute to this donation. The total was $198.00, but I know every dollar counts, so I just made it a nice round $200.00. I am thinking of bringing it back for Easter. What do you think? Here is a screenshot of the donation sent.

I'm in the middle of transitioning from Valentine's Day to St. Patrick's Day, and I'm starting with my chocolates! ha-ha I got me some gold coins and Rolo's from Target. So those are my go to chocolate snacks for the next month until I switch it up again for Easter. I mean it is highly possible that I may have started getting into the Easter spirit a wee bit, and that there may or may not be a bag of Cadbury chocolate eggs hidden somewhere in my studio. 😜

I really do need to stop with all my snacking and get cracking on decorating my mantel. It has been bare since the end of last week. My family hasn't said anything to me, so I'm guessing they just don't care! 😂 I have teenagers and I just want to say, the struggle is REAL - they don't care! 😂

Are we Sleighin' or Slayin' ?

I hope you are having a great start to this new year! As I was putting up Christmas I thought about how I had not shown this cute wood round sign. I love that it can go up in October and stay up through Christmas. This sign gives me all the Hallmark feelings. I've been contemplating making a few of these to list. 🤔 I will get back to you on that. Speaking of Christmas - Anyone feel like it just zoomed right by at a high rate of speed this year? I totally did. Materials used: Wood, acrylic paint, gold, green and red foil paper and some rope and ribbon for hanging. Everything cut on my laser. Thank you for swingin' by. Gold Leafing a Boutonniere

It was my first time to do a boutonniere and I thought I would try adding some gold leaf foil to a few roses and see how they turned out. They came out very nice, I thought. Some Supplies used: Add the adhesive where you want. You can put as much or little as you'd like. I was going for a bit of a drip on one of them. I played around adding some gold leaf foil to a few leaves. It was a big rose and a rather heavy one at that, so I decided to just do the one and leave the other rose out. It would have been too bulky. Using some floral tape, floral wire and some hot glue I put the boutonniere together. For a soft more vintage look I added some vintage lace I had on hand and finished it off with some ribbon. This boutonniere was a hit and it was a fun piece to do. Thanks for popping in, Maddie

Gift Tags

I have been "spring cleaning" because I feel I haven't done a good job at that the last couple of years - lol. I usually have banners for every holiday and put them up on the mantel in the living room. It helps me and the familyget into the spirit of whatever holiday is up. I had one I really liked but I know I will be doing something different this year, so I decided to make these cute tags. I love gift tags. I especially like to make some and have them on hand ready to use. I didn't take a picture of the banner before I took it apart, but basically it was just the string that I cut off. 😅 These cute snowflakes tags were purchased from the Dollar Store a couple years back. I removed the silver elastic string off of each snowflake since I will be combining them to the other snowflake from the banner I took apart. You can use a sharpie and write To & From on the back of the tags, a fun message or they look great as is. I love personalizing items when I can, a...
